It all began on September 1st... Exciting! How did you experience this day?
I was looking for a fun company in the Microsoft world, specifically in Business Central. I got to know Scapta through my girlfriend. It was love at first sight. The application process went smoothly, and soon after, I passed a few nerve-wracking tests, which I thankfully completed successfully. Truly a match made in heaven!
What exactly were you looking for in your new job?
I long for a home environment where every colleague matters. Where you're not just a number. A place where Kristof can be Kristof. And I've found that!
Now that you're a captain... does our online communication have the same energy as in real life?
Absolutely! I feel like I can turn to many people here. If there are questions, I can always ask them. I can also really let loose with activities among colleagues after hours. All my expectations have been exceeded!

What makes Scapta different from your other jobs?
In my previous job, I had a small team. Today it feels more familiar, and I can count on a diverse team where both young and old make a difference together.
Have you learned a lot already, and do you see opportunities for growth ahead of you?
Absolutely! This is just the tip of the iceberg. The support period was a great introduction to the company for me. Now that I've completed the initial quick scan, I'm really looking forward to diving into upcoming projects. I'm eager to start implementing my knowledge. And not only that... I'm learning new things every day and even get to give training sessions on topics like Jet Reports, which I've only just started mastering myself, so it's super exciting and challenging!
A Business Consultant should possess several key qualities, including strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, adaptability and flexibility, a strategic mindset, and integrity and professionalism.
A Business Consultant is like a true captain of a ship: familiar, friendly, humble, yet confident. We may not be the biggest, but what we do, we do very well. We don't engage in shirt-and-tie politics. We are simply who we are, and that is one of our strengths.
You have a son. Is the combination of family and work easy to balance at Scapta?
Absolutely! I see my son week in and week out, which can be tough at times, but luckily Scapta places a lot of importance on a good work-life balance. For example, I travel less when my son is with me. .
Dilemma Wednesday: You can never speak again, or you have to talk non-stop for a whole day?
Piece of cake! Then I'll choose to talk non-stop. I can stay silent, but if I get the chance to talk, I'll definitely let myself go.
