How were your first Scapta days as an intern?
It's actually quite traumatizing... Haha, no, just kidding! I felt almost immediately at ease, even though that's not really in my nature. But with such a nice, friendly atmosphere, it's really not difficult here!
Can you tell me more about your internship assignment?
Of course, that story might be a bit more complex! Initially, my task was to grow the Scaptify app. This app was launched a few years ago by Scapta and connects Shopify with Business Central. Okay, that's clear and understood!
But in the business world, it's not always that simple! Due to many new developments, we had to adjust my assignment in consultation. So I had to switch gears quickly, but that's how it will be later too!
Was the internship challenging for you?
Yes, it certainly was! That whole turnaround was quite a challenge. Suddenly there were many changes, things that aren't immediately tangible, innovations... all very exciting! Learning about the product as well as the internship itself was challenging for me, but that's how you get to know yourself better.
Why did you feel good about scapta right away?
The people! Without a doubt, the people and the atmosphere! Everyone is super friendly. There's always a lot of laughing and talking at the table. I really felt at home here right away.
Could you always count on other people's jokes?
Absolutely! My questions were answered immediately. It’s great to know that everyone is always there for you.
They helped me to push my introverted self aside a bit and come out of my shell. I am incredibly grateful for that!

Great to hear! What stage moment are you most proud of yourself?
Then I'll go for the entire process! It wasn't an easy assignment with many challenges. I delved in as best I could. I also learned a lot through the training I was allowed to follow! There are certainly many things I can take with me for the future, I am definitely proud of that.
Your internship was also during COVID. Was there still enough connection for you?
Yes, indeed! I was able to come to the office quite often in the end. But even when I worked from home, I could always count on my close colleagues. Everyone I needed was always available, so I didn't experience much trouble with that.
And the team spirit, how do you look back on that?
Blissful, in one word! The bowling was super fun! You immediately get to know colleagues in a different way. It's nice that so much attention is paid to this.
What makes Scapta unique for you?
Scapta immediately evokes a good feeling in me, a feeling of togetherness! When you step inside, you immediately feel like you belong, which I think is truly unique. They helped me to set aside my introverted self a bit more and to come out of my shell. There is certainly still a lot of growth possible, but it was clearly a step in the right direction. I am enormously grateful for that!
Is there one thing you absolutely still want to say to the scaptane?
THANK YOU! Thank you for taking me in so well. Thank you for guiding and directing me! Especially the colleagues in marketing, I worked closely with them. Really, thank you!
