How long have you been working at Scapta now?
Almost 17 years now. I've experienced Scapta since I was a child, so I can say that Scapta has become my second home.
And what is your role then?
I am a technical consultant. What do I do? Customizations and integrations with Business Central.
A woman in a man's world. Have you always been able to hold your own here?
Yes, I think so! I always liked doing boy things, even from a young age. I preferred that to dolls and girl stuff. Always one of the guys, so I feel completely at home here.
Did you know right away that Scapta was the ‘place to be’ for you?
Absolutely! Scapta cares about the people who work there. I experience it as a big, caring family where everyone matters. It's a company where you grow and feel valued. You are an important part of something bigger.
What about challenges in your job?
On the digital express train, right? Quite an evolution when you look back 15 years. Learning new things is what makes it captivating. And using all that expertise to help clients. Seeing the results and knowing it works gives me a lot of satisfaction! It doesn't matter which client it is.
You're on the most steady and experienced Scapta team, right? Is that a particular strength?
We know each other, some for over 15 years. I think those bonds are very important for feeling comfortable within a team. For me, that is definitely the ultimate turning point at scapta. Stronger together.
Talking work-life balance: myth or reality at Scapta?
Reality! Of course, it helps that I live nearby. No traffic jams for me, so more time for the morning rush. We can also work from home when it suits and feels better.
What makes Scapta a top employer, why is it different, why is it a great place to work?
Scapta's secret is undoubtedly its colleagues, the Scaptans. There's a great mix of hard work, expertise, and fun. We might be smaller than some IT companies, but that's precisely what makes us different. With us, it's more personal and warmer. The connections are more direct.
What team spirit, do you participate in that, and what was your favorite Scapta outing?
There's plenty of work being done on that anyway! Choosing what the best outing was? That's like choosing between your favorite ice cream flavors, impossible. Doing an activity together and then having a bite to eat is already a recharge moment for me.
The Scapta vibes, how would you summarize them?
