Who are the Scaptans? A long time ago... it must have been sometime in the 500s, the Scaptans lived... Just kidding! The Scaptans, that's our team! The Scapta family. Each one is a unique story with hidden (and not so hidden) talents. Wonderful people who share a passion. Our Scapta family is growing! Would you like to meet them?
👋Meet:
Marco Donati 🤌 29 years old
Fervent handball player at night 🏐
Business consultant by day 👨💻
What were your first days at Scapta like?
“First and foremost, sweaty palms! I was nervous because you only get one chance to make a first impression, of course. Leaving a familiar work environment for a new challenge is quite exciting! But when you're welcomed so warmly by all the Scaptans, you immediately feel right at home. I felt instantly part of the family and everyone was so helpful. Additionally, I also immediately had a friend, Johan, who started around the same time as me. We were able to count on each other immediately and helped each other a lot!”
An exciting, but good start, so it seems! What exactly does your new job at Scapta entail?
“Currently, I'm working as a junior consultant. Which essentially means: learning, learning, learning. I do this two to three days a week in the support department. I assist clients who are experiencing problems with Business Central, Navision, or CRM with advice and practical help. I then take over their screen to look along or I can test things in the existing environment. Every day I gain new insights, which is very fascinating!”
“On other days, I go along (virtually or in person) to clients to implement Business Central. The client receives an explanation of the program and any custom development that has been created. We set the correct parameters and teach the client how to manage the tool so they can use it everywhere soon.”

“You won't be part of Scapta, but Scapta will be part of you.”

And now the big question! What do you like about your new job at Scapta?
“That's very easy, the atmosphere! Doing my job with pleasure is enormously important to me, and fortunately, they don't make that particularly difficult at Scapta. Being myself is essential for that. Not only is that possible here, but it's also encouraged! I'm welcomed with open arms everywhere; it doesn't matter if you have a lot of experience or not, if you're new or not; that doesn't matter to the Scaptans. Scapta has its own character, is buzzing with enthusiasm, and isn't just an employer; Scapta is a family. I was immediately part of that family, part of Scapta, and I'm incredibly proud of that now!”
Great to hear! Can you summarize Scapta in 3 words or 1 quote?
“You won't become part of Scapta, but Scapta will become part of you.”
Nice to meet you, Marco! ????
