For our new Business Unit are we looking for a Odoo Technical LeadThe captain who sets and oversees the technical standard. You decide how we build, what we keep standard, and where customization truly adds value — and you bring our developers along with you in that process.

 

What are your challenges?

  • From Technical architecture to map and monitor our Odoo implementations
  • Custom modules develop in Python, XML and OWL, with respect to the Odoo standard
  • Integrations building with webshops, WMS, PIM, Peppol and other systems via REST/APIs and Webhooks
  • Data migrations Migrating from legacy systems to Odoo, setting up and validating
  • Code reviews to do, establish guidelines and fellow developers coaching
  • Deployment, CI/CD, and upgrades Organize (Odoo.sh, on-premise or Docker)
  • The technical contact in presales: feasibility, scope, and estimates
  • Make choices together with the functional consultants that remain maintainable in the long term.

 

Who are we looking for?

  • You have at least 3 years of experience as a developer in Python, preferably with Odoo
  • You know it Odoo ORM, the module structure, and the pitfalls of too much customization
  • You are familiar with PostgreSQL, Git and a modern deployment flow
  • You can explain technical choices for someone who is not a developer — clear and without jargon
  • You like to take responsibility lift others up with you
  • You are eager to learn and love new technologies
  • Dutch Dutch and English
  • You want to build with us on the Scapta success story
