Microsoft Copilot for Sales has arrived!<\/strong> <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

There is a lot of buzz around Copilot, Microsoft's new intelligent assistant. In this article, we provide practical examples of how you can already use Copilot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are focusing on Copilot for Sales<\/strong>, an application that has been available since February 2024. Initially, it was only in English, but it has now been largely translated into Dutch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it's high time to get started!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let Copilot for Sales draft an email message for you<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our tests, we asked Copilot to write an email to schedule a meeting. We chose the option \u2018Draft an email\u2019 and gave the instruction: \u2018write an email stating that we would like to schedule a meeting on Friday, June 8th or Thursday, June 20th\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An automatically generated email appeared on the right. You can still customize it by making textual changes or by asking Copilot to adjust the length and tone of the email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you satisfied with the message? Then you can send it directly, and it will be automatically saved with the contact person in question in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Save emails, create contacts, update opportunities, \u2026<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This without having to switch between the Dynamics 365 app for Outlook and the Copilot for Sales app. The familiar actions from your current app are also available in the new Copilot for Sales app, often with faster load times and fewer clicks!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Dynamics 365 App for Outlook or Copilot for Sales?<\/strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For experienced Dynamics 365 users, the question arises: what is the difference between the current Dynamics 365 app for Outlook and the new Copilot for Sales app?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here is an overview of the differences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What stands out from this comparison is that there is significant overlap between both apps. It would therefore not surprise us if the Copilot for Sales app eventually replaces the current Dynamics 365 app for Outlook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get started with Copilot for Sales!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Get started and download Copilot for Sales from Microsoft Appsource by following these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Log in to Microsoft AppSource<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Enter \u2018Copilot for Sales\u2019 in the search field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Click \u2018Download now\u2019 on the Copilot for Sales for Microsoft Outlook app card in the search results.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. In the \u2018Confirm your details to continue\u2019 window, select \u2018Download now\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. The app is being installed and a confirmation message appears.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    After a successful installation, you can go to the \u2018all apps\u2019 icon in Microsoft Outlook and select the new \u2018Copilot for Sales\u2019 app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Also install the app for Microsoft Teams:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Log in to Microsoft Teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Choose \u2018Apps\u2019 in the left navigation bar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    3. Search for \u2018Copilot for Sales\u2019 and select it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    4. Click \u2018Add\u2019 in the Copilot for Sales window.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
