Responding to the rapidly changing market demands was not their strongest point. A whirlwind named Satya Nadella. He became Microsoft's new CEO, bringing about radical changes. He decisively opted for a cloud-first and mobile-first strategy, which was incredibly forward-thinking at the time. He also tackled the company culture. He challenged everyone to shift from a \"know-it-all\" to a \"learn-it-all\" culture, and that has paid off. Satya succeeded in dismantling internal silos, enabling departments to collaborate and strengthen each other. He implemented a growth mindset on a large scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first results of all these efforts quickly became visible. The cloud-first strategy paid off and immediately led to enormous revenue growth. Microsoft entered into partnership agreements with formerly sworn competitors such as SAP, Salesforce, and Apple. All these initially stand-alone technologies became part of the powerful and intelligent Microsoft cloud platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few years later, Microsoft\u2019s revenue and profits skyrocketed, and shareholders became happy investors! Nadella has now been CEO for seven years and has been anything but idle. Microsoft\u2019s market capitalization grew from $1.43 trillion to $1.9 trillion. Unprecedented! More than six times the value in seven years\u2014no one has ever done it before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Microsoft has become a true leader in digital transformation. The company\u2019s mission? To empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. And that\u2019s exactly what Microsoft does itself!
