However, they fail to realize that this can come at a heavy cost to the business. It inevitably leads to inefficiencies in this rapidly changing world with demanding customers. How about you? Is all your software up-to-date? If not, you're undoubtedly aware that better solutions are on the market, right? For some reason, you're just not ready to act yet. Perhaps this will help you make up your mind.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An ERP or CRM solution is typically renewed every 8 to 10 years. This often involves an upgrade or a complete replacement. A good, up-to-date system is essential for your business. Yet, these projects are often put on the back burner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why? Modernizing your business software can elevate your company, but why does it often seem like the nail in your coffin? Complexity, fear, effort, time, and\/or budget? Yes, all of that is possible. But have you also considered the negative consequences for your business if you don't take action?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Below we have bundled some negative consequences, and these are just a few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will face a high Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). This cost is inherent to using on-premise software based on your own server. Not only does the hardware cost you money, but its maintenance costs also weigh heavily in the long term.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Poor or inefficient business processes can be very costly, especially if you don't intervene in time. This can lead to lower quality and consequently a decrease in customer and employee satisfaction. Ultimately, this can also lead to the loss of customers and\/or employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Your business continuity and independence are at risk. Delayed modernization makes you dependent on the knowledge of senior employees for certain specific know-how. Sooner or later, they will retire, and their knowledge will leave your company.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Last but not least, perhaps the main problem: missing out on the innovation that we continuously see in cloud-based solutions. All leading ERP and CRM vendors have now shifted their R&amp;D investments to their cloud products. If you are still on-premise, this means you will miss out on new functionalities and innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And we haven't even considered all possible security issues. Modernizing business software may be an investment, but ignoring it could cost you a fortune.
